Albert Cardwell's love for photography goes back to an early age of 11 when he was taught photography in the sixth grade. Tom Butler, a North Carolina artist, who is now known throughout the US for his flag paintings, taught the course and showed him the joy that you can have with a camera. He has been hooked on photography ever since.
After the sixth grade, He studied photography on his own and became the yearbook photographer in high school. Two teachers there gave him the confidence he needed to pursue photography. After high school, he attended Randolph Technical College in Asheboro, North Carolina and received a degree in Photography Technology.
In 1982, Albert opened a camera store in Madison, North Carolina and ran it until 1997. During that time he served as a member of the Professional Photographers of North Carolina, the Photo Marketing Association and developed products for the photography industry.
Today Albert continues to offer commercial and industrial photography services, custom website & logo design, multimedia presentations, photo restorations, digital imaging, graphic design services and offers photographic prints to the public. Other prints can be found at www.CollectiblePhotography.com and other services can be found at www.TheCameraAngle.com
Even though he has spent over 35 years photographing products, industries & people, he still loves to grab his camera and go out and photograph the beautiful scenes, wildlife, skies and other things around us.
